Community Activities

The SSCHC welcomes the opportunity to participate in community activities across Southern Strafford County. The Coalition regularly presents to municipalities about its projects and activities, displays information and handouts at community fairs and events and offers activities that fit its mission whenever possible.

Apple Harvest Day (Fall 2005):

The SSCHC participated in the Dover Chamber of Commerce's Apple Harvest Day by promoting the World-Wide Day of Play and offering opportunities for children to get involved in physical activity. Dover Yoga , Matt Randall's Black Belt Academy, The Works Health and Fitness Center and the UNH Sisters in Step  volunteered their time to lead youth in interactive activities that would get them moving! The SSCHC wants to publicly thank these organizations for their time and participation.
